MLP-ATG-Alumni

Helping Brony Artists Grow
Hai everypony! Spades here!

Some of you may remember me from such art drives as Project Moonsmiles and Operation Robodrapes!  And today is my first day helping out with the MLP-ATG-Alumni! There's so many buttons and dials back here like you guys wouldn't believe, and THEY'RE LETTING ME PRESS THEM! So much responsibility! Talk about culture shock..
And speaking of culture, you can find all of this week's amazing submissions on the wrap up blog! Don't be afraid to nose at the other artists and comment on their stuff! Every little bit of help goes a long!

SPEAKING OF. This week's theme is:

Helping Out!

And the best thing about this theme? THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS TO HELP! You can help someone physically, like changing their cartwheel or carrying their load! Or shouldering their mental burden by lending an ear! Does the pony in need call for help, or are you just acting out of thoughtfulness? Are you helping as part of a team for the community, or going out of your way for that special somepony? Does it matter? When you do your very best to help a friend, everyone wins! Right?!

And when you've drawn that, don't forget to submit it here, our external submitter! The username is artist and the password is twilight. That should work. I think. Don't forget you can submit more than once! Now get out there and START HELPING! :D

Wow that was so fun! Can I press more buttons now? How do I stop the journal recording? Is it this big re #  - ++LOG: entry corrupt

I can't submit to the group. It just shows an error: "Sorry, you do not have permission to submit artwork to this group."

That's odd.  What folder were you trying to submit to?

...?
I didn't even get to the groups. I couldn't find any other way so I tried to add it via the "Add to a Group" button in the deviation page. When I typed the group name in the field and pressed "Check" it just showed the aforementioned message.

Potentially stupid question, but are you actually a member of the group?  I took a look through the member list and didn't notice you there, but I could have simply missed you.
Also, sorry about not responding to you more quickly.  I've been rather busy as of late, unfortunately.

We actually have a number of tutorials made by various people in the Guides and Other Helpful Things folder.  This includes both basic tutorials on drawing ponies, as well as some that go into detail on specific elements.

It's not letting me submit to this week's theme. There's no plus sign next to the folder, and the theme isn't on the list when I try to submit it from the deviation page.

Oh shoot!  Thanks for pointing that out, seems we set the permissions wrong on the folder!  My bad!  It should be set to accept deviations now!  My humblest apologies!

So I submitted my pic for this weeks theme to the external submitter, but when I go to view it's "this Week's gallery," it doesn't show up, so I'm not sure if it actually went through or not...

Ok so upon quick inspection it seems to be working right now. Try to resubmit it and I will ask around to see what could have caused that.

Just tried it again, it still doesn't seem to be going through to the right gallery because it's still not showing up.

That is very odd because I don't see it anywhere. I just tried it again and it worked... When you submit a drawing it should say "Congratulations you are submission ______________!" or something remotely close to that. Sorry to trouble you but could you let me know what the message says when you try to send it? It may give me a clue on the problem at hand.

Im actually looking for someone to make a pony character reference sheet for me (A WHOLE lot of them!)

Would someone respond? I will be paying so don't worry!

(I am unaware if this is not allowed in the comment section! It is alright if this is removed, just a comment telling me not to do it again so I know is fine :D )
