It's been a long time since I've thought about being in class, and about the teachers who truly helped me to grow. They were few and far between, but they're names I won't soon forget, and whom I still wish to make proud, in some way. For something else to be proud of, one can always look to this week's Wrap Up Blog.

Teaching is a difficult task that requires patience and mental fortitude, but most importantly it requires a real passion to teach. To reach out and affect another's life in a positive way, and to know that you are making a difference. It's a pretty powerful task, and one which can be difficult every single day when dealing with life as:

A Passionate Pony / An Emotional Outburst

Do you pour everything you are into your work? Your art? Your life?! Is your talent an all-consuming drive which threatens to burn away all else unless you can release it upon the world in as dramatic a fashion as possible? This is passion! That passion can be powerful to harness, to do what you want, to understand what you love in life, and to pursue it with all your heart.

The flipside of passion is that it can result in some pretty heavy emotions when things go badly. Fear, anger, heartbreak, depression, can all be the result of passion denied. Of course, this only gets really dangerous if you let it get out of hand, or if you're an alicorn foal with only the barest level of control over your magical abilities. That kind of outburst won't just leave you feeling awful, but could have catastrophic magical ramifications!

So please, take a deep breath, let your mind clear of all those negative emotions, and pursue your passions! Upload your art to our DA Gallery, as well as the external submitter for inclusion in the Blogger post. The username is artist, and the password is twilight. No sense crying over spilled rainbow.

Had issues posting for student/mentor. Gonna try again for this one. I'm brewing up some ideas for it
