Carefulness and balance have been in rather short supply this week, so be on your guard. And also make sure to check out the Weekly Wrap Up post as well, though do be on your guard there too.
Well, it's that time of year again. Time for sugar cookies and eggnog and trees inside the house. For tinsel and light strings and little glass ornaments that you really need to be careful with. For giving and being with family and telling tales of Hearth's Warmings long ago. Especially that last one.
A Storybook Pony / A Pony Tale
"A Hearth's Warming Tale" is a true classic of Equestrian literature, holiday-themed or otherwise, and it presents a lesson that holds true to this day. But it's certainly not the only tale told around this time of year. Ponies also tell tales of that red-nosed anomaly who appeared among the regal reindeer of the far north, and his adventures with strange living toys and not-so-abominable snow monsters. And there's also the tale of that green grouchy fellow who's name I can never remember. Oscar maybe? Nah, I don't think so.
But of course, not all stories are holiday-themed. Perhaps you'd rather explore a different bit of classical literature, or something from a modern novel. A scene from your favorite foalhood bedtime story would be a nice option, too. But whatever it is you use for inspiration, make sure to show us the result both here in the group gallery and also through the external submitter. As always, the username is artist and the password is twilight. And they're correct too; I made sure I avoided that careless mistake I made a few weeks ago where I listed them backwards...

A Final Farewell
Hello, everypony. Boy, it’s been a long time since I’ve done this. Let’s see if I remember how...
To be honest, I’m not even sure where to begin, having been asked to come back and make this last post. It’s been so long since I’ve been away; leaving all this in the extremely capable hooves of Fetch, Flurry, and Jez. It’s like coming back to where you grew up, and finding it’s moved on without you. It’s a strange combination of bone-deep familiarity... and a sense that everything has changed forever. I have so many thoughts and feelings about all of this
Test post, please ignore
i am not good with computers, plz to halp

Final Fracas
To every pony parent who helped us get to this point, we salute you all. From parents of Princesses, to the world's biggest Wonderbolt fans, or the simplest of rock farmers, let's spend some time to reunite with this week's Wrap Up Blog.
Now, it is time we consider the past, the present, and the future. Things have all come together here, at this point where, for better or worse, things are going to change. The end is coming, and before that happens, we must face:
The Climactic Battle / The Final Challenge
The Nullification of Nightmare Moon. The Duel with Discord. The Conflict against Chrysalis. The Siege of Sombra. The Terrifying Tussle
Relating to those you're related to.
All ponies are unique, and even that which is foreign or seems exotic isn't so different from who we are. Take a hand, hoof, claw, or other of someone new and make a friend at this week's Wrap Up Blog.
While it is well worth getting to know those who are new to us, new friends are always good, we must also keep those we already know close to our hearts as well. So, after a journey out into the lands of the new, this week we're coming home to spend a little time with:
Parents / A Reunion
Parents can be the ponies who help shape who we are and how we think. Though every pony changes as they experience the world, the ponies who raised us ofte
